Enter the Dragon's Den

20th August, 2012

Retro Expo will be providing a healthy slice of interactive, constructive and business-related fun during the show. A Dragon’s Den session will take place on Thursday 1 November at the NEC as part of The Green Deal Summit. The Den is organised by The British Property Federation, and forms part of a full day programme aimed at SMEs from the retail and offices sector.

Munish Data, Head of Plan A at M&S and Chris Jofeh, Head of Retrofit at Arup, are included in a panel of ‘Dragons’ hoping to identify innovative retrofit non-domestic products and services. The Dragons are looking for six credible and innovative solutions that are capable of mass-scale roll out. Technologies are especially sought from the lighting, HEVAC, microgeneration and building fabric sectors. They are also interested to hear about process innovations that increase speed or efficiency. The focus is on innovations that could have a revolutionary impact on non-domestic retrofit.

Selected innovators will have 10 minutes to pitch, and then a 10 minute discussion with the Dragons. At the end of the session, the Dragons will select the Retro Expo Non Dom Retrofit Innovation of the Year. To enter your product or service, email david.pierpoint@retro-expo.co.uk providing no more than 100 words on why you should be considered based on the criteria of credibility, innovation and mass-scale roll out.
